Abstract Background Gold nanoparticles (GNPs) have been used to sensitize cancer cells and enhance the absorbed dose delivered such cells. Active targeting can provide specific effect higher uptake of GNPs in tumor cells, while having small on healthy The aim this study was assess possible radiosensitiazation conjugated with AS1411 aptamer (AS1411/GNPs) treated 4 MeV electron beams. Result increased Au Clonogenic survival data revealed that at 12.5 mg/L could result radiosensitization breast lead a sensitizer enhancement ratio 1.35 1.66 1.91 for MCf-7, mammosphere Conclusion delivery enhanced led radiation induced death. combination our results suggested has radiation-induced death increasing uptake. This sensitization contributed stem cell-like is particularly important future preclinical testing open new insight treatment cancers.
